The Michigan Dept. of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) is offering their Value-Added grants again in 2020. Eligible projects include:
- Food hub development
- Food access, including access to fresh/nutritional foods
- Value-added food processing (innovation & equipment; Technical assistance, including feasibility studies that lead to jobs/investment; Outreach and training)
Matching funds of 30% are required. Maximum grant request is $125,000.
